The erosion of the banks, the wind, "the force of nature" ... What do we mean by saying the force of nature? The earthquake, the breaking of icebergs, the hurricane season, there is an accumulation behind these events ...
An event is by definition something big, small changes day by day lead to the birth of the greater than oneself ... Understanding the impact of these small events seems to slip off our hands.
I took a few photos of this huge rock which slowly descends towards the sea. I chose this one because the weather is calm, a beautiful quiet summer day, in opposition to erosion precisely. There is a lot of detail on the rock, very very rare that I put the subject in the center, but I was there to take a portrait, I told myself in the end.
The prints are made on fiberbase Ilford paper. I used the bromophen to give a slightly warm tone to the prints. Each print is signed on the back and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. The paper size is 11x11 inches and the image is 10x10.
